it's beginning to look alot like summer..

Out with the old..and in with the new..

 

Owen is having a corneal transplant tomorrow in his left eye. He has a degenerative eye condition with a very long fancy name that, without transplants will leave him blind. We have been waiting for 6 months for the first transplant and now that the day is here(almost)we are feeling a mixture of anticipation (that he will be able to see in a year!) and anxiety(because a transplant is a big deal!) A year from tomorrow, give or take, the stitches will come out and Owen will see the world with exciting clarity:)
